I was so excited to photograph the wedding of Simon and Joy this past Saturday at Thorpewood, a beautiful 155-acre mountain retreat located in the Catoctin Mountains near Thurmont, MD. Simon and Joy were one of the most amazing couples to work with. Their kind and loving nature was amazing to watch as their families joined in celebrating their nuptials. Simon, born in Germany, and Joy, born in Maryland, met while on an airplane flight. Who says you kind find love at the airport! Both families were so much fun and must say some pretty talented dancers! The event was a hit from the amazing food by Mike Delphey with Canapes Catering and the music by Tyler with Frederick DJ that kept the dance floor hoping.
